HANGZHOU — The winners of the 20th Outstanding Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Science of Zhejiang Province have been announced recently. Three works from the College of Media and International Culture (CMIC) of Zhejiang University have received the award.
The Texture of Memory: Media, Trauma and the Nanjing Massacre is a monograph co-authored by Professor Li Hongtao and his fellow professors. It placed second at the Outstanding Achievement Award in Fundamental Research.

Additionally, two other co-authored research papers got third place at the Outstanding Achievement Award in Fundamental Research. One of the papers to receive the award was Social Media, Social Integration and Subjective Well-being among New Urban Migrants in China written by Professor Wei Lu and Associate Professor Gao Fangfang.

The other award-winning research paper was Liquid Connection: Understanding Occupational Community—An In-depth Interview with Journalists in China by Dr. Zhou Ruiming and others. Dr. Zhou is also a tenure track assistant professor of the Hundred Talents Program.
