On November 27, Prof. Anselm Heinrich, International Dean of College of Arts and Mhairi Macfarlane, Senior International Officer from Glasgow University visited College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University. Prof. Fan Zhizhong, Associate Dean of College of Media and International Culture, Assistant Prof. Zhang Chan, Lecturer Li Yuanyuan, Jiang Panpan, Coordinator of International Relations and Zhou Yun, Editorial Assistant, warmly welcomed the guests.
Prof. Anselm Heinrich gave a brief introduction of the college’s mission, structure and outreach programs. He then took Film and Television Studies as an example to explain the design of the curriculum system, highlighting the enduring legacy of film and television culture in Scotland. He emphasized Glasgow was an ideal university for students and teachers to conduct practical and theoretical researches in humanities.
Fan Zhizhong, Associate Dean of College of Media and International Culture, discussed exchange programs, dual master's degree program and academic collaborations for both students and faculty members from two schools with Prof. Anselm Heinrich. Both sides showed great interests in this partnership and looked forward to fullfilling this great promise in the near future.
